The Diesel is torquey and economical but its very loud and unrefined. The Boosterjet is smooth, quiet and powerful. I've not had any reliability issues with any engine but I'd guess the Suzuki petrol would outlast the Fiat diesel. 2016 is the year they still sold the 1.6 petrol, non-turbo, an extremely reliable Suzuki engine.
