WebbKubernetes has many ways of doing that for you, polluting an OS with configuration that k8s is meant to do seems like an anti pattern. If you really care about your data you need to ditch k3d and hostPath and migrate to k3s and longhorn, or rook-ceph with velero/kasten/trilio. Thanks for the suggestion!
