WebDec 19, 2024 · From what I saw it happens relatively often when monitor is on 1920x1080 and 144Hz, when I was using another monitor with 60Hz and 1360x768 it never happened. After the recent update it didn't change anything, optimal power and 144Hz is still flickering at the top, so I guess maximum performance is truly the only way. WebI've had this monitor for 2 years now, I've DDU'd my drivers and theres been no difference. The issue started a few months ago but only on the 144Hz option and now it has spread to the 120Hz option as well. Monitor in question is the 27" AOC 27G2U FHD Monitor, IPS, 1920x1080. WebJul 30, 2024 · Main screen is an Acer XG270HU on Display port running at 2k @ 120 fps capped, if I set it to 144hz it will cause screen flickering on the 2nd screen alot more even without a game loaded but works fine capped at 120. 2nd screen is an HP Pavilion 27 vw 1080p 60hz HDMI .

You'd be best advised to run the desktop at 120hz for best quality and run games at 144hz where the scan lines will be less noticeable. Flickering should not be an issue.
